About
I'm Danielle, a yoga instructor and *retired* physical therapist. My fascination with movement and the human body started at a young age when I immersed myself in the world of dance. Dance injuries led me to physical therapy, and my desire to find a new practice to fill my heart and soul led me to yoga.
As a yoga instructor, I believe in creating a strong foundational knowledge of alignment, along with fluidity of breath and body. My experience as a physical therapist allows me to guide students through a safe practice, and accommodate any injuries, restrictions or conditions.
Private Yoga
All yoga sessions incorporate yoga asana (poses) and pranayama (breath practices). Depending on the individual, I may incorporate different forms of yoga (vinyasa, yin, restorative, meditation, etc).
Sessions can be designed to help with overall wellbeing, or address specific concerns, like core stability or stress reduction. This will be discussed prior to your session.
Virtual sessions are available if you have a busy schedule or live far away. Otherwise, in-person sessions are best, as they allow for the possibility of hands-on assists and modalities such as Reiki. In-person sessions can take place in your home, or any private space you have available to you.
Rates below are for one hour sessions. 90 minute and 120 minutes sessions are available upon request. Rates vary for groups, parties, events, etc.
